By downloading, accessing, or using the Academy of Alchemy app ("the App"), you indicate your acceptance of all sections of these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them. If you do not accept these Terms, do not access or use the App.

We may make changes to these Terms to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements, or to implement technical adjustments and improvements. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of significant changes via the App or email. The date of the current version is shown above for your reference.
The App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the App without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, the App is unavailable at any time or for any period.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to disable any account at our reasonable discretion, including if we believe you have failed to comply with these Terms.
All content on the App — including videos, text, images, audio, tools, graphics, and software — is the property of The Academy of Alchemy Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without our express prior written consent.
We endeavour to ensure that the content on the App is accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose of the information and materials found on the App. The content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
You agree not to use the App: (a) in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation; (b) to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material; (c) to transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses or any other harmful programmes; (d) to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App; (e) to resell or sub-licence any App content or access.
The content provided through the App — including courses, meditations, articles, and tools — is for personal educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not be relied upon as, professional medical, psychological, therapeutic, or any other professional advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or mental health concern. We expressly disclaim any liability for any actions taken or not taken based on any content on the App.
We take data protection seriously. Please review our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties, representations, or other terms which may apply to the App or any content on it, whether express or implied. We will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the App or its content. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve months prior to the claim.
The App may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Academy of Alchemy Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
These Terms of Use, their subject matter, and their formation are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
"Membership" or "Subscription" means a paid recurring subscription to access premium content and features on the App. "Subscription Period" means the monthly or annual period for which you have subscribed.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each Subscription Period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can view and manage your subscription in your App Store account settings.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Subscription Period. You will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of the period for which you have paid. We do not offer refunds for partially used Subscription Periods, except where required by applicable law.
We may offer a free trial period from time to time. Any free trial will be subject to these Terms. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Your membership is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or sub-licensed to any other person. We reserve the right to terminate your membership without refund if we reasonably believe it is being shared or misused.
We will use reasonable endeavours to make the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or withdraw the App, or any feature within it, for operational, security, or technical reasons without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any loss caused by any unavailability of the App.
We may make changes to the content, features, and pricing of the App from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any material changes. If you do not wish to accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App via the menu. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, typically within 30 days. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active subscription — you must cancel your subscription separately through your App Store account settings.
The following additional terms apply to users who download the App from the Apple App Store:
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example in the context of a merger or acquisition. We will endeavour to inform you if this happens. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to another person.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, pandemic, fire, flood, or failure of telecommunications networks.
